There are a number of new cancer drugs currently in preliminary testing phase, which are not in doubt, raising the hope of many that the bad luck battling cancer right now and hopes of their families and loved ones. But are these high expectations of life extension, or even be completely healed really justified by the demands of the medical industry in the capabilities of these new drugs?

The truth, cancer patient cancer drugs + = big profits
In view of this, let's look at some of these new cancer drugs which many people are living in anticipation of, or in the future may be putting his life;
Iressa (gefitinib)
Iressa now can be used to treat people with locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) or NSCLC that has spread to other areas of the body. Respiratory diseases - which affect about 1 in 100, this is a rare side effect, is the inflammation of the lungs. Symptoms include shortness of breath, cough and fever. This is very serious and can even cause death.
Conclusion
We are not looking for a potential cure here, but only an extension of life. The ability of cancer cells become resistant and come back with total immunity to this drug means that does nothing more than "we wait longer."
Side effects are not pleasant, to say the least and once the cancer comes back, as scientific evidence has shown that almost inevitably does, what options are left?
In my opinion, a great down to instigate something so great hopes among many patients.
PARP inhibitors
The first results in the use of PARP inhibitors to treat breast cancer are said to be promising. PARP stands for poly (adenosine disposphate-ribose) polymerase, an enzyme that repairs the damage to our DNA.
These drugs are said to work for "obstructing the ability of cells damaged by chemotherapy or genetic mutations through to repair themselves, causing tumor cells to die as a result" (WSJ).
PARP is found in all cells, including cancer cells and helps damaged cells repair themselves. According to some physicians, because cancer cells have BRCA gene faults, if you can stop working PARP-1 then these cells can not repair themselves and die. As normal cells do not contain errors BRCA gene should still be able to repair themselves even though PARP-1 is blocked in all cells of the body, not just cancer cells.
This treatment is still at an early stage of the trial, but could be an effective treatment for cancer with an abnormal BRCA1 or BRCA2 gene. This drug, when used in conjunction with chemotherapy may reduce the resistance of cancer cells to chemotherapy. This treatment is only available for those with an abnormal BRCA1 or BRCA2 gene in breast cancer treatment in advanced stage, ovarian or prostate cancer through participation in clinical trials.
Known side effects
As this is a new treatment, little is known about side effects, however there are some that doctors already know, Fall of Blood Cell Count - cause fatigue, shortness of breath, an increased risk of infection or bleeding problems.
Conclusion
Despite claims that the inhibition of PARP-1 should not affect the functioning of healthy cells that simply can not be the case, as demonstrated by the fact that this may cause a decrease in blood cell counts. Surely this is evidence of damage to blood cells, which are able to repair themselves? I find it hard to believe that PARP is found in all healthy cells, if not actually necessary for them as part of its operation. We should increase the strength of our healthy cells and immune system, not to obstruct their ability to repair themselves, common sense tells us they are only weakening the entire body with the hope of killing the cancer cells before the damage to healthy cells kills us first. The cells are carrying out our form, our bones, our blood, our skin and internal organs, denying them of something to keep you just leave ourselves open to infection and illness.
Herceptin (trastuzumab)
Another drug used for breast cancer and stomach cancer, apparently, Herceptin may stop breast cancer growth and in some cases may even reduce the size of the tumor. Herceptin is used alone or in combination with chemotherapy or those who have already completed two cycles of chemotherapy.
Herceptin is part of a group of cancer drugs called monoclonal antibodies. Monoclonal antibodies recognize and bind to certain proteins that can be found on the surface of cancer cells and is said to activate the immune system to attack these cells. While assisting in the disposal of certain types of cancer cells, these drugs are said to cause harm "little" to healthy cells.
Around 20-30% of breast cancer and appears in 6-40% of cases of stomach cancer is an excessive amount of a protein called HER2 found in cancer cells, which stimulates growth of these cells. These cases of this type of cancer known as HER2-positive, where breast cancer patients referred to this can be very aggressive and rapid growth. Herceptin binds to the HER2 protein on the surface of cancer cells and prevents the protein of the epidermal growth factor bind, epidermal growth factor triggers the chemical reaction inside the cancer causing cells to grow and divide.
Known side effects
Common side effects:
Fatigue - this may take 6 months - 1 year after treatment, but gradually decreases with time.
The flu-like symptoms - nausea, dizziness, headache, fever and chills may be experienced and is said to disappear after a few hours after treatment. These side effects are often offset by the additional medication.
Allergic reaction - affects about half of patients, usually reduced through other treatments. Symptoms include fever, chills, rash, urticaria, pruritus, wheezing, headache, dizziness, flushing, lightheadedness, shortness of breath and difficulty breathing.
Diarrhea - usually treated with medication. It affects about 1 in 3 people.
Heart problems - a great Fast and irregular heartbeat and is not suitable for patients with a history of heart disease or high blood pressure.
Pain - abdomen, chest, pain in joints and muscles may be experienced.
Less common side effects:
Reduced white blood cell count - cause an increased risk of bacterial infection, which in some cases can be fatal. Symptoms of infection include headache, feeling cold and chills, muscle pain, cough, sore throat, and possibly pain during urination.
Lung problems - cough and difficulty breathing.
Heart damage - can cause heart damage, affecting about 1 in 25 people, and even heart failure.
Liver problems - usually follow up with regular blood tests.
Insomnia - difficulty sleeping.
Fertility problems - unknown effects on fertility (but still on the list.)
Conclusion
Given the statements that "little damage to healthy cells," that makes the drug when you look at the above side effects, it is clearly put into perspective. Everything has side effects like this and most commonly according to reports widely available, is harmful and damaging to our cells and our long-term health.
Another strength, this drug is used with or after chemotherapy. Chemotherapy causes significant damage to our bodies and kills more people than cancer. Without doubt, to use this in the first place is beyond all reason, let alone in conjunction with another drug with horrible side effects such as almost any of the above! Everyone knows the poor quality of life resulting from chemotherapy, particularly repeated treatment, but fear I can not think of the suffering of the people can endure through a combination of chemotherapy and Herceptin.
Some reasons for the side effects mentioned are treated with more drugs. "In addition to discomfort and damage to our body may be the only real result of this, even if you feel initial relief.
Medical Industry figures indicate a 50% increase in survival rate using herceptin breast cancer, unfortunately only in the statistics misleading. The actual figure is only 12%.

I personally would never dream of touching them, I will not say "even if my life depended on it," because they never do, my life will always depend on "my own lifestyle, not drugs prescribed to me by any doctor.
When states hear of these drugs are set to benefit potentially thousands of cancer patients and it is considered that 1 in 4 of the population is directly affected by cancer, it is a lot of people, although the 3 - 4% of them benefited from them, it would still be thousands of people! Since it is medical statistics, but these figures are much higher, but again these statistics are actually failures in many ways. An example is the survival rate of 40-50% of chemotherapy patients, which is not always clear is that this is only for a period of five years. The real cure for cancer:
There are actually many cures, very real for cancer, but are simply ignored by most people who put their faith and made their lives in the hands of her oncologist alone. Perhaps we should remember that these people, although there is no doubt that they are acting with the best of intentions, are trained in medical school in the use of "drugs" for treating cancer. They have no knowledge or experience in the natural treatment options and therefore now is certainly the time to take control of our own destiny by educating ourselves in other treatment methods that are working well for hundreds of thousands people around the world. There are so many stories written by people who have been cured after being considered incurable by medical professionals and some have recovered after being literally on his deathbed.
The main aspect to consider when it comes to treating cancer is that adjustments to certain lifestyle to do, something that was not working for you or not have become ill and what I'm talking about all the diet. Changing your diet alone may be sufficient to reverse many cancers, especially in the early stages and always the best place to start. If you are not willing to give up the foods you like, or are not willing to give this a try, then the real desire to get well again is not there. This course of action is not painful side effects, which can only make you feel better and better with time.
