| Can anal cancer be prevented. Therefore,Since the cause of many cases of anal cancer is known that the disease can be prevented completely. The best way to reduce the risk of anal cancer is to prevent infection with HPV or HIV. The risk of these infections is greater for those who have sex with multiple partners and having unprotected anal sex. HPV infection increases the risk of anal cancer. HPV infection may be present for years without symptoms, so the absence of visible warts can not be used to find out if someone has HPV. Even when someone does not have warts (or any other symptom), he (or she) can still be infected with HPV and pass the virus to another person. Condoms ("rubbers") provide some protection against HPV, but can not completely protect against infection. This is because HPV can still be transmitted from one person to another by skin to skin contact with an HPV-infected area of the body not covered by a condom - as the skin in the genital or anal area. However, it is important to use condoms to protect against AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases are transmitted through certain body fluids. A vaccine called Gardasil ® can help protect against infection with HPV subtypes 16 and 18 (as well as 6 and 11). In studies, this vaccine was found to prevent anal and genital warts caused by HPV types 6 and 11 and to prevent anal cancer, vulvar, vaginal and cervical cancer and precancerous lesions caused by types 16 and 18. This vaccine can only be used to prevent HPV infection - no help treat an existing infection. To be most effective, the vaccine should be administered before a person becomes sexually active. Gardasil was originally approved only for use in women to prevent cervical cancer, but is now also approved to prevent vulvar and vaginal cancers and pre-cancer (in women) and to prevent anal cancer and precancer both men and women. It is also approved to prevent anal and genital warts in men and women. Cervarix ®, another HPV vaccine available in the U.S., can also be used to prevent infection with HPV types 16 and 18, but so far only been shown to help prevent cervical cancer and precancer and not any of the other cancers linked to HPV infection (such as cancer of the anus). Smoking is a known risk factor for anal cancer. Quitting smoking greatly reduces the risk of anal cancer and many other types of cancer. | ||

The best way to reduce the risk of developing anal cancer is to avoid infection with HPV or HIV. The risk of these infections is higher for those who have sex with multiple partners and those who have unprotected anal sex.
New Dicover On what causes anal cancer
Much research is underway to learn HPV can cause anal cancer. There is good evidence that HPV causes a lot of anal squamous cell carcinomas. But the role of this virus in the cause of anal adenocarcinomas is less certain. More than 100 subtypes of HPV have been found. The subtype known as HPV-16 is often found in squamous cell carcinoma and is also found in some anal warts. Another type, HPV-18, was found less frequently. Most anal warts are caused by HPV-6 and HPV-11. Warts that contain HPV-6 or HPV-11 are much less likely to become cancerous than those containing HPV-16.
HPV makes proteins called E6 and E7 may close two major tumor suppressor proteins in normal cells. These proteins - p53 and Rb - normally work to keep cells from growing out of control. When not activated, the cells can become cancerous.
When the body is less able to fight infections, such as the HPV virus can be active and trigger the development of anal cancer. HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, weakens the body's immune system, such as drugs can be used to prevent rejection in patients with kidney, heart, liver or other organ transplants.
Most people know that smoking is the leading cause of lung cancer. But few realize that chemicals that cause cancer in snuff smoke can travel from the lungs to the body. Many studies have noted an increase in the rate of anal cancer in smokers, and snuff consumption effect is especially important for people with other risk factors for anal cancer.
It is important to remember that some patients with anal cancer have no known risk factors and causes of cancer are not known.

What are the risk factors for anal cancer Today
infection with human papilloma virus
The majority of anal squamous cell cancers have been linked to infection with human papilloma virus (HPV), the same virus that causes cervical cancer. In fact, women with a history of cervical cancer (or pre-cancer) are at increased risk of anal cancer.
HPV is a group of more than 100 related viruses. They are called papilloma viruses because some of them cause papillomas, which are more commonly known as warts. There are several subtypes of the virus, but the most likely to cause anal cancer is called HPV-16, one. HPV-16 and HPV 18, HPV 31, HPV 33 and HPV 45 are considered high-risk types of HPV, since they are strongly linked to cancer. They can also cause cancer of the cervix, vagina and vulva in women and penile cancer in men.
Other subtypes of HPV can cause warts in the genital and anal area. The medical term for warts is condyloma acuminatum. The two types of HPV that cause most cases of anal and genital warts are HPV 6 and HPV 11. They are called low-risk types of HPV, as they tend to cause warts but not cancer. HPV can cause anal and genital warts, but most people infected with HPV do not have genital warts or other signs of infection.
HPV is passed from one person to another during skin contact with the infected area of the body. HPV can be spread during sex - including vaginal intercourse, anal and oral sex - but sex does not have to occur for the infection from spreading. All you need is to have skin to skin contact with infected body area with HPV. HPV infection seems to be able to spread from one body part to another - for example, infection can begin in the genitals and then spread to the anus. The only way to completely prevent anal HPV infection and genital never allow another person to have contact with those areas of the body.
HPV infection is common, and in most cases the body is able to eliminate the infection by itself. But in some cases the infection remains and becomes chronic. Chronic infection, especially when you're with the HPV types of high risk over time can cause certain cancers, including anal cancer.
For men, the two main factors influencing the risk of HPV infection are genital circumcision and the number of sexual partners. Men who are circumcised (have had the foreskin removed) are less likely to become and remain infected with HPV. The risk of being infected with HPV is also strongly linked to having multiple sexual partners (for the life of a man.)
For women, certain factors have been linked with an increased risk of genital HPV infection, such as:
* Starting to have sex at an early age
* Having multiple sexual partners
* Having sex with a partner who has had many other partners
* Having sex with uncircumcised men
In a study that analyzed risk factors for anal HPV infection in women, the risk was higher in younger women and those who were more than five lifetime sexual partners. Always having anal sex is also a greater risk.
Circumcision and HPV: Men who are circumcised are more likely to be infected with HPV and pass it to their partners. The reasons for this are unclear. It may be that the skin on the glans penis through changes that make it more resistant to infection with HPV. Another theory is that the surface of the foreskin (which is removed by circumcision) is more easily infected by HPV. However, circumcision does not protect completely against infection with HPV - men who are circumcised can get HPV and pass it to their partners.
Condoms and HPV: Condoms may provide some protection against HPV, but not completely prevent infection. One study found that when condoms are used correctly, can reduce the rate of genital HPV infection in women by 70% - but it is necessary to use sex all the time occurs. This study did not analyze the effect of condom use in anal HPV infection. In another study, men who used condoms less than half of the time had an increased risk of HPV infection. Condoms can not completely protect, and not covering all possible areas infected by HPV in the body such as the skin of the genital or anal area. However, condoms provide some protection against HPV, and also protect against HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases. Condoms (when used by the male partner) also appear to help clear genital HPV infections (away) faster in women and men.
Other cancers
Every time you have cancer of the cervix, vagina or vulva is associated with an increased risk of anal cancer. This is likely because these cancers are caused by infection with HPV. Although it is likely that cancer of the penis, which is also linked to HPV infection, increase the risk of anal cancer, this link has not been proven in studies.
HIV infection
People infected with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), the virus that causes AIDS, are much more likely to develop anal cancer than those not infected with this virus. effective drug treatment for HIV has decreased the risk for many diseases related to AIDS, but has not lowered the rate of anal cancer.
Sexual activity
Having multiple sexual partners increases the risk of infection with HIV and HPV. It also increases the risk of anal cancer.
Receptive anal sex increases the risk of anal cancer in men and women, especially those under 30 years of age.
Smoking
Smoking also increases the risk of anal cancer. Smokers are much more likely to have anal cancer compared with nonsmokers. Quitting smoking reduces the risk. People who used to smoke but have quit are only slightly more likely to develop cervical cancer compared with never smokers.
Decreased immunity
The highest rates of anal cancer occur in people with reduced immunity, such as people who have had organ transplants and take medications that suppress their immune system.

How Can Cancer Be Prevented?
Skin cancer can be prevented by staying in the shade, protected with a hat and shirt when in the sun and use sunscreen. Diet is also an important part of cancer prevention, since what we eat has been associated with the disease. Doctors recommend diets that are low in fat and rich in fruits and vegetables and whole grains.
Some vaccines have been associated with preventing some cancers. For example, many women receive a vaccine for human papilloma virus because of the relationship of the virus with cervical cancer. Hepatitis B vaccine prevents hepatitis B virus, which can cause liver cancer.
Some cancer prevention based on screening to detect small irregularities or tumors as soon as possible, even if no clear symptoms present. Breast self-examination, mammograms, testicular self-examination and Pap tests are common methods to detect various types of cancer.
How Is Cancer Treated Today
Surgery
Surgery is the oldest known treatment for cancer. If the cancer has not metastasized, it is possible to completely cure a patient by surgical removal of cancer from the body. This is often seen in the removal of the prostate or breast or a testicle. After the disease has spread, however, it is almost impossible to eliminate all cancer cells. Surgery can also be instrumental in helping to control symptoms such as intestinal obstruction or compression of the spinal cord.
Radiation
Radiation treatment, also known as radiotherapy, focusing on the cancer-killing high-energy rays in cancer cells. This causes damage to the molecules that make cancer cells and leads them to commit suicide. Radiation therapy uses high-energy gamma rays that are emitted from metals such as radio or high-energy x-rays that are created in a special machine. The first few radiation treatments caused severe side effects due to energy rays can damage normal, healthy tissue, but the technology has improved so you can be more objective with precision. Radiation therapy is used as a stand-alone treatment to shrink the tumor or destroy cancer cells (including those associated with leukemia and lymphoma), and is also used in combination with other cancer treatments.
Chemotherapy
Chemotherapy uses chemicals that interfere with the process of cell division - harmful proteins or DNA - to cancer cells commit suicide. These treatments target all rapidly dividing cells (not necessarily only the cancer cells), but normal cells can usually recover from damage induced by chemical, while cancer cells can not. Chemotherapy is usually used to treat cancer that has spread or metastasized and the drugs travel throughout the body. Is a necessary treatment for some forms of leukemia and lymphoma. The chemotherapy treatment occurs in cycles so that the body has time to recover between doses. However, there are still common side effects such as hair loss, nausea, fatigue and vomiting. Combination therapies often include several types of chemotherapy or chemotherapy combined with other treatment options.
Immunotherapy
Immunotherapy aims to get the body's immune system to fight the tumor. injected local immunotherapy treatment in an affected area, for example, because of the inflammation that causes tumors to shrink. systemic immunotherapy is all the body by administration of an agent such as interferon alpha protein that can shrink tumors. Immunotherapy can also be considered not specific if it improves the ability to fight cancer by stimulating the immune system, and can be considered if treatment directed specifically tells the immune system to destroy cancer cells. These treatments are relatively young, but researchers have had success with the treatments that have antibodies against the body that inhibit the growth of breast cancer cells. Bone marrow transplantation (transplantation of hematopoietic stem cells) can also be considered immunotherapy because the donor's immune cells, often attack the tumor cells or cancer are present in the host.
Hormone Therapy
Several cancers have been associated with some types of hormones, especially breast cancer and prostate cancer. Hormone therapy is designed to alter the production of hormones in the body so that cancer cells stop growing or killed altogether. Hormonal therapy for breast cancer often focus on reducing levels of estrogen (a common drug tamoxifen) and prostate cancer therapies hormone often focus on reducing levels of testosterone. In addition, some cases of leukemia and lymphoma can be treated with the hormone cortisone.
Gene therapy
The goal of gene therapy is to replace damaged genes with those working to tackle one of the causes of cancer: the DNA damage. For example, researchers are trying to replace the damaged gene that signals cells to stop dividing (p53) with a copy of a working gene. Other gene-based therapies focus on more DNA damaging cancer cells to the point where the cell commits suicide. Gene therapy is a very young and still has not led to any successful treatment.
How Is Cancer Diagnosed And Staged?
The removal of cancer cells and watch them on a microscope is the only absolute way to diagnose cancer. This procedure is called a biopsy. Other types of molecular diagnostic tests are often used as well. Doctors will analyze your body sugars, fats, proteins and DNA at the molecular level. For example, prostate cancer cells release higher levels of a chemical called PSA (prostate specific antigen) in the bloodstream that can be detected by a blood test. Molecular diagnosis, biopsy and imaging techniques are used together to diagnose cancer.
After a diagnosis, doctors discover how far the cancer has spread and stage of cancer. The stage determines what options are available for the treatment and informed forecasts. The method of staging the most common cancer is called the TNM system. T (1-4) indicates the size and direct as the primary tumor, N (0-3) indicates the degree to which the cancer has spread to nearby lymph nodes, and M (0-1) indicates whether the cancer has metastasized to other organs in the body. A small tumor that has spread to lymph nodes or distant organs can be classified into stage (T1, N0, M0), for example.
TNM descriptions then lead to a more simple steps, from 0 to 4, where lower numbers indicate that the cancer has spread less. Although the majority of Stage 1 tumors are curable, most Stage 4 tumors are inoperable or incurable.
How cancer classified
1. Carcinomas are characterized by cells lining the inner and outer parts of the body such as lung, breast and colon cancer.
2. Sarcomas are characterized by cells found in bone, cartilage, fat, connective tissue, muscle and other supporting tissues.
3. Lymphomas are cancers that begin in the lymph nodes and tissues of the immune system.
4. Leukemias are cancers that begin in the bone marrow and often accumulate in the bloodstream.
5. Adenomas are cancers that arise in the thyroid, pituitary, adrenal gland and other glandular tissues.
Cancers are often referred to by terms that contain a prefix related to the type of cell in which the cancer originated and a suffix such as-sarcoma, cancer, or just oma. common prefixes include:
• Adeno- = gland
• Chondro- = cartilage
• Erythro- = red blood cell
• Hemangio- = blood vessels
• Hepato- = liver
• Lipo- = fat
• Lympho- = white blood cell
• Melano- = pigment cell
• Myelo- = bone marrow
• Myo- = muscle
• Osteo- = bone
• Uro- = bladder
• Retino- = eye
• Neuro- = brain
What Are The Symptoms Of Cancer?
Other types of cancer have physical symptoms that are less apparent. Some brain tumors tend to have the first symptoms of the disease affecting important cognitive functions. pancreatic cancer are generally too small to cause symptoms until they cause pain to push against nearby nerves or interfere with liver function to cause a yellowing of the skin and eyes called jaundice. Symptoms can also be created as a tumor grows and presses against the organs and blood vessels. For example, colon cancers cause symptoms such as constipation, diarrhea, and changes in stool size. Bladder or prostate cancer cause changes in bladder function, such as more frequent or infrequent urination.
Because cancer cells use the energy of the body and interfere with normal hormone function, you may have symptoms such as fever, fatigue, excessive sweating, anemia, and unexplained weight loss. However, these symptoms are common in several other diseases as well. For example, cough and hoarseness may indicate lung or throat cancer as well as several other conditions.
When cancer spreads, or metastasis, additional symptoms may occur in the new area affected. Swollen or enlarged lymph nodes are common and are likely to present early. If the cancer spreads to the brain, patients may experience dizziness, headaches or seizures. Spread to the lungs can cause coughing and shortness of breath. In addition, the liver may be enlarged and cause jaundice and bones can become painful, fragile and break easily. The symptoms of metastatic disease ultimately depends on the location where the cancer has spread.
What is Cancer? What Causes Cancer?
Cancer damages the body when damaged cells divide uncontrollably to form tumors or masses called tumors (except in the case of leukemia where the cancer prohibits normal function of blood through the abnormal cell division in the stream blood). Tumors can grow and interfere with the digestive, nervous and circulatory systems, and can release hormones that alter the function of the body. Tumors that are housed in one place and show limited growth is generally considered to be benign
More dangerous, or malignant tumors are formed when two things happen:
1. a cancer cell manages to move all the body systems using the blood or lymph, the destruction of healthy tissue in a process known as invasion
2. does the cell divide and grow, as new blood vessels to feed itself in a process called angiogenesis.
When a tumor spreads to other parts of successful and growing body, invading and destroying other tissues, is said to have metastasized. This same process is called metastasis, and the result is a serious condition that is very difficult to treat.
In 2007, cancer killed about 7.6 million people worldwide. Doctors and researchers who specialize in the study, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of cancer are called oncologists.
Genes - the DNA type
The cells may experience uncontrolled growth damage or mutations in DNA, and therefore, damage to genes involved in cell division. Four types of genes are responsible for cell division process: oncogenes tell cells when dividing, tumor suppressor genes tell cells when not to divide, suicide control and apoptosis genes tell the cell to kill themselves if something goes wrong, and DNA repair genes instruct the cell to repair damaged DNA.
Cancer occurs when cell mutations of genes that the cell can not correct the DNA damage and unable to commit suicide. Similarly, cancer is the result of mutations that inhibit the function of oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes, leading to uncontrolled cell growth.
Carcinogens
Carcinogens are a class of substances that are directly responsible for damage DNA, promote or assist cancer. The snuff, asbestos, arsenic, radiation, like gamma rays and X rays, the sun, and compounds in car exhaust fumes are examples of carcinogens. When our bodies are exposed to carcinogens, free radicals are formed to try to steal electrons from other molecules in the body. Theses free radicals damage cells and affect their ability to function normally.
Genes - the kind of family
The cancer may be the result of a genetic predisposition that is inherited from family members. It may be born with certain genetic mutations or a faulty gene that causes a statistically more likely to develop cancer in the future.
Other medical factors
As we age, there is an increase in the number of potential cancer-causing mutations in our DNA. This makes age an important risk factor for cancer. Several viruses have also been linked to cancer, such as human papillomavirus (a cause of cervical cancer), hepatitis B and C (causes liver cancer) and Epstein-Barr virus (a cause of some cancers of children). human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) - and all that suppresses or weakens the immune system - inhibits the body's ability to fight infection and increases the likelihood of developing cancer.
What is Cancer?
Cancer is the end result of the cells that grow uncontrollably and do not die. Normal cells in the body resulting from an orderly path of growth, division and death. Programmed cell death called apoptosis, and when this process breaks down, the cancer begins to form. Unlike regular cells, cancer cells do not experience the death of programming and instead continue growing and dividing. This leads to a mass of abnormal cells that grow out of control.

Cnacer free-How To Cancer Overcome Is Easy : I will Show You
They address the four characteristics of all cancers. These four conditions must be corrected before anyone can beat cancer: 1) A weak immune system, 2) Lack of oxygen consumption by cells, 3) excessive toxins, and 4) the acidity. Conventional cancer treatment (chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery) makes these conditions worse. In fact, it is responsible for nearly all the deaths attributed to "cancer." That's right. The "treatment" cause death - no cancer.
Why? Conventional treatments for cancer are nearing the cancer tumor (or its existence in the blood, lymphatic system or bone marrow) as if the "enemy." Destroy cancer cells at all costs! Costs can be the heart, liver, kidneys - or life.
Why do these things? There are literally 350 other effective ways to treat cancer. All are non-toxic and harmless to your other organs. Why not tell your oncologist about these options?
Can you spell MONEY?
The average cancer patient (like you) generates $ 1.3 billion in revenue for cancer "industry." Do you think they want you to be healed by something that costs pennies a day?
COST
How much do you think a system like mine should cost? Take a guess. U.S. $ 10,000? U.S. $ 2,500 a month? Well, hold on to your chair. The cost is just $ 104 per month in the U.S. Dollars. Please understand. You pay only $ 104 for food and supplements. You do not pay me anything. I have no compensation for the sources from which I recommend you buy the food and supplements. I just try to give you the cheapest and best source I can find. I've often changed my recommendations when I found something better.

The Causes of Breast Cancer and Its Treatments
Breast cancer is cancer that begins in the cells of the breast in men and women. Worldwide, breast cancer is the second most common type of cancer after lung cancer (10.4% of total cancer incidence, both sexes counted) and the fifth most common cause of cancer death.
Breast Cancer Causes
In breast cancer, some cells in your breast start to grow abnormally. These cells divide more rapidly than healthy cells and can spread (metastasize) through your breast, lymph nodes or other parts of your body
Women who start their periods early (precocious puberty) or having a late menopause have a slightly increased risk of breast cancer.
Women taking hormone replacement therapy (HRT), or have taken, have a slightly increased risk of breast cancer. Detailed information about HRT.
Although the exact causes of breast cancer are not clear, we know that the main risk factors. However, most women considered at high risk for breast cancer do not understand, while many who do have no known risk factors.
Symptoms of Breast Cancer
Breast lumps in general
The first symptom of breast cancer for many women is a lump in her breast. But 9 out of 10 breast lumps (90%) are benign. That means they are not cancers. Most benign breast tumors are not cancer.
A lump or thickening in the breast or armpit: Some tumors or inflammation in the breast tissue may be due to hormonal changes. But if a lump or thickening persists, either the breast or armpit area may be a cause for concern.
Liquid (not milk) leaking from the nipple: Between the ages of 41 to 58, can be a bit of blood leaks without the nipples of the breasts. This leakage is usually due to hormonal changes and is not worrying.
The breast cancer treatments
Surgery
the breast-conserving surgery (lumpectomy), mastectomy and lymph node dissection, and what to expect from each.
Building long-term health
Why is it so important to stick to your treatment plan, take the full course of medication, and continue with regular tests and doctor visits to stay healthy in the future.
Tests on cancer cells
Her breast cancer cells can be tested to see if they have hormone receptors or receptor biological therapy. There are estrogen and progesterone receptors.
Simple mastectomy. During a mastectomy, the surgeon removes all breast tissue - the lobules, ducts, fatty tissue and skin, including the nipple and areola.
Reconstruction with a tissue flap. Known as a transverse rectus abdominal muscle (TRAM) flap, this surgery reconstructs the breast tissue, including fat and muscle of the abdomen, although surgeons.

Reduce Your Chances of Getting Cancer Naturally
Toxins and diseases, especially viral diseases, often resulting in prolonged inflammation leads to a cellular defense response that ends up in cancer. Exposure to various forms of radiation can also lead to cancer. Avoiding the causes of cancer and the adoption of measures to avoid causing cancer are the keys to preventing cancer. The immune system is our first line of natural cancer and disease, including disease that leads to cancer. For a disease to find a space, you must first defeat the immune system. Consequently, it seems obvious that the construction and maintenance of a strong and healthy immune system would be a first essential step to prevent cancer. Avoid toxins in our air, water and food supply is essential to one second to prevent cancer and a third is to avoid radiation.
To build a healthy immune system and prevent the causes of cancer, you must first build a sound basis. Keys to building a healthy base to replace bad health habits such as smoking and a sedentary lifestyle with good and make sure you have all the necessary nutrients for optimal health. For many of us, that means changing our diet unhealthy diet of most Americans SADS one that exchanges of junk food and processed foods detrimental to a diet that includes organic raw vegetables and especially especially and fruits and healthy seeds. The healthy includes plenty of omega-3 fatty acids, iodine, appropriate and essential services, a minimum of processed foods and GMOs, and modest portions of meat. Meat or fish should be cold water or small portions of outdoor organic meat have not been feeding practices significantly since broiler meat is likely to contain antibiotics and growth hormones that can promote cancer. Processed meats are unhealthy for all.
It is virtually impossible to get even the minimum RDA of all essential nutrients from the diet alone, much less the optimal amounts daily needs for better health. Unfortunately, most of us are deficient in multiple nutrients not only because of our diet, but our soil over-breeding, production and cold storage of food in our grocery shelves which have had much of the nutrition processed out. Therefore, supplementation with specific nutrients, a well-foods derived from the combination of nutrients and / or super fine powder may be necessary to help achieve optimal health and immune system.
Other key considerations for building a healthy base include an active lifestyle, getting plenty of life giving sun and the elimination of all pesticides, herbicides and other common household chemicals not found in nature.
The recommendations will do much to prevent cancer. Others, such as a family history of cancer and those who have had a viral illness or another disease that is associated with increased risk of cancer may want to go further.
At the end of this series, let's take a look at additional measures that a person can take to give maximum protection against cancer vaccines and why it can not be the answer you have told us they believe.
Although most people can reduce their chances of cancer with healthy changes in diet and lifestyle, others with higher risk factors for cancer could take additional steps to have the best possible chance. People most at risk are those who have had cancer before, those with a family history of cancer, people who have been exposed to bacterial and viral infections associated with cancer and those who have been exposed to cancer-causing toxins such as asbestos , pesticides and heavy metals.
People who have had cancer before they are statistically a much higher risk of either having the return of the cancer itself or acquire other forms of cancer. Those with family history of cancer may be genetically predisposed to have a higher risk of getting cancer in the same themselves. Also, diets and lifestyles similar to the family may play a role contributing to cancer more prevalent in families with a history of cancer.
One area that may provide greater protection against cancer is diet. In addition to eating a healthy diet to include additional portions of some of the best natural anti-cancer foods such as dark grapes (containing resveratrol is known), the raw nuts like almonds and walnuts and cruciferous vegetables as broccoli, cabbage and cauliflower. People with concerns about colorectal cancer should include extra fiber sources, such as apples - which have also proved valuable in the prevention of breast cancer.
Another important area is supplementation. Supplements that stimulate the immune system are especially important, since cancer must defeat the immune system to gain a foothold in the first place. Some of the best immune boosters are: bay leaf, echinacea, pau d'arco, suma, Astralagus and medicinal mushrooms. People who have been exposed to the virus can also be considered natural anti-viral, such as garlic leaf extract, olive oil and wild mountain oregano.
Some supplements have been associated with both protection against cancer in general as well as protection against specific forms of cancer. For example, oleander above, digestive enzymes and oil Blacks (Nigella sativa) are all good and prevention of cancer are also three of the few items known to be effective against pancreatic cancer. Vitamin D3 has been particularly effective against preventing breast cancer and colorectal cancer, despite the health scares about sunlight, melanoma and other skin cancers. Iodine has also been shown to protect against breast cancer, especially when combined with selenium important co-factor (the best way to combat cancer is methylselenocysteine selenium).
Curcumin protects against a wide variety of cancers including lung and colorectal cancers. Studies have found that curcumin may have the full benefit of protection for those who have a history of smoking. Of course, that's no excuse to continue smoking the snuff is one of the highest of all risk factors for cancer.
recommended over conventional medicine to shrink the cancer vaccines, however, cancers are believed due to viral infections are much higher in developing third world countries (26% versus 8% in developed countries). Besides the lack of vaccines, these countries are also marked by poverty and lack of sanitation and safe water, access to health and nutrition. Many believe that improving the areas that have a much more positive than vaccines only increasing.
Vaccines can be a significant risk factor for cancer. There has been a dearth of studies on vaccine safety, either separately or in combination. What is known is that the vaccines contain a number of known and suspected carcinogens and other mutagens known to cause abnormal development of cells.
Instead of trying to prevent cancer by injecting substances known or suspected to cause cancer, a better plan would be to take measures to reduce natural hazards and the intake of natural elements that humanity has existed for thousands of years .
You Cure Your Self of Cancer - Alternative Cancer Treatment For a Healthy Body, Mind and Spirit
You have cancer is a phrase that one in five people in the United States this year will hear one way or another. Too many people have cancer! cancer starts by ripping his life his own way. Unfortunately, the life of a lifetime of ignoring certain aspects of his body and has given rise to the disease.
Hearing you have cancer is destroying the earth! Cancer is perhaps the most feared disease because we know so little about him and for many it is a death sentence.
All you can do is ask yourself ... "How did I get cancer? What I can do to make this in my body? Going to die What am I gonna do?" Where I can go? What? What, Where, where, and why? Why? It installs the confusion and fear in. You are a mess!
What are you doing? You need a plan. Prayer helps, but also needs a plan. You need a support system of friends and what they need to depend on God to help you.
You ask ... Will I die? Depending on what type of cancer you have and where it is in your body, you have different questions. On the other hand, some questions are about the same for everyone. Did you ever get better? Will I see the same thing? What about insurance? Cover everything? What about my family? What about my job? What about business? Who can help me? What should I do? How much is all this going to cost?
Do these words sound familiar? These words and the emotions are very normal. You are being challenged with the biggest test of his strength in his life. My thoughts probably sounds familiar to his thoughts. His journey has just begun.
As a cancer survivor two times I've written this book to show that cancer need not be a death sentence. You have to change many things in your life. When reading the book, is written to stop and think. All I can do is share my experiences and I hope that because of my pain and suffering, you find comfort and a cure for cancer.
Heal itself, even with the help of modern medicine is a task that only you can do for yourself. Many people try to help and guide you, but you need to make the decision that will be fine and that some changes be made in the way you live your life. For you to get well and live many more years will have to decide to be fine. Think the thoughts of well being. Your mind must know that enough is enough for the rest of your body can reach such a thought. This concept could be a little difficult to understand at first, please read on. Cancer is perhaps the biggest challenge ever faced, and it takes tremendous courage to get well. You must be strong!
Your body was designed by God, has its own power to heal itself. His body was sick for not listening. When you listen to your body and your inner self, you will get well. So many people cancer such as a long term because it is a life changing event. Today, many people facing cancer and healing themselves. Be optimistic and learn from my trip and research travel and many others.
was diagnosed with throat cancer. The doctors were perplexed as to how to have cancer, and it was not the typical profile of the person who contracted throat cancer. I did not smoke, not drink to excess. When I entered the chemotherapy infusion room with a doctor for programming, women in the help desk asked "Who is the patient?" The doctor said, pointing to me and said, "It's for her." On the outside I looked healthy, or so I thought at that time. To find the reason I got cancer was my personal journey. Looking back, I have a different perspective.
My trip was not easy. There is no simple cure for cancer is, however, cure yourself of cancer is not as mysterious as you might expect. Decisions must be made quickly and seriously. You need a support system.
1. If you smoke, stop immediately.
2. If you are in a home where everyone smokes, you need to get to a clean environment in which they are not exposed to secondhand smoke.
3. If you are a heavy drinker of alcohol, should cease immediately. Did you know that alcohol can cause cancer? Most of us do not. Where is the "surgeon general" warning on the consumption of alcohol? Alcohol consumption can cause cancer.
4. If you drink soft drinks containing aspartame must stop immediately. In fact, soft drinks are just sugar and chemicals. You should drink juices and water instead.
5. You need to decide who wants to live and who will be changing their lives to do so.
6. Get enough rest. You need at least 8-10 hours of sleep each day. Naps are also recommended. While resting, your body can do its own healing process.
7. FEAR is necessary to forget. It is necessary to get to work on healing the body that has been neglected for many years. At this point, has no time for fear.
8. Having a positive attitude toward healing. You will be healthy again.
9. Leave God to act!
10. Expect a miracle!
You've read that I am a cancer survivor twice. The first time I was diagnosed with cancer, I took the American Medical Association to approach the disease. I went to the University of Virginia Medical Center, which is the treatment of prior-art cancer. First, I had chemotherapy treatments for several weeks. Chemotherapy given poison to every cell, thus killing the cancer cells, and at the same time, healthy cells. He also received seven weeks, five days a week, radiotherapy. TomoTherapy radiation equipment has a cancer tumor analysis every day and as the treatment progresses, the tumor size and change positions. This team aims directly at the tumor and the laser radiation, killing the cancer cells. I almost died on the combination of these treatments long. However, after treatment was more stressful, my cancer went into remission. The recovery of the treatments took a long time because my body was very frail and weak. All cancer patients are anemic, and I was no exception. The cancer causes Anemia and chemotherapy makes it even worse.
My weight dropped to 80 pounds. I lost all my hair. I was depressed beyond anything imaginable. Do not eat for five weeks. I had to have a feeding tube inserted so that my body could get the nutrition they need. All I knew cardboard, why eat? It was a horrible experience. However, the cancer went into remission and cured, or so I thought.
I started to gain weight and come alive again. A beard hair. With my immune system being challenged by chemotherapy, which drew a rare amoeba in my right eye. The amoeba ate my cornea and blood vessels in the eye before the problem is diagnosed correctly. The pain was excruciating and almost nine months, I was blind in my right eye.
When the amoeba is gone, and my eyes began to heal, I began to see again. By visiting the ophthalmologist for the first time in almost a year finally saw and recognized the "BIG E" That was a happy day! However, since my body was malnourished and weak, the next day I had a heart attack. In the operating table during a heart surgery, he could hear the nurses talking about me. "She is so small." I weighed about 90 pounds wet.
After recovering from heart attack and gain weight slowly back to my old car and went to work. I had a new heart, I was thin and fashionable, and I was the design and traveling the world again. Modern medicine had cured me of the terrible disease and the complications that surround it. Happy days were here again!
I got back into my old bad habits. I worked hard, not getting enough rest, stressed about things, and not eating properly. Basically, I love myself just after the ordeal that he did before cancer. The rationale, I did not know what he did. You're sitting there saying "what?" I'm here to tell you that cancer is a symptom of something much deeper than just the cell disease. The body and mind are much more complex than treatment with medicines and medical treatment. In case you have forgotten your mind is connected to your body and mind and brain are much more responsible for everything that happens in your body either conscious or subconscious level.
Within two years, the same cancer returned. I was diagnosed with cancer a second time. This time, the treatment was more complicated and serious.
After verification cancer biopsy, the doctors wanted to do the surgery. In his view, chemotherapy and radiation had not worked. This time it would rescue surgery left me maimed for the rest of my life.
I refused salvage surgery and all that went with it. The doctors had suggested that at least take another flight of chemotherapy. I went to the doctor's appointment chemotherapy. During the course of our conversation (I was taking notes) we discussed my previous chemotherapy treatments and how quickly the cancer was gone. At that time, the doctor turned to me and said "everybody knows the chemotherapy does not cure cancer." I asked, "why you put me through all the horrendous experience almost killed me if I cured?" Do not wait for an answer.
My mind was made up that time. Something was very wrong with this picture! After seeing several of my friends go through cancer treatment with a fatal outcome, I opted for quality of life.
I have three different opinions from professionals in the diagnosis of a second cancer.
1. University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, Virginia, where he had been treated for cancer treatment in the first place.
2. Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California, for its best Oncology Center.
3. Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona to test oral Trans Micro Laser Surgery for throat cancer. This is a relatively new procedure that only two renowned physicians in the world, one of them is the Mayo Clinic.
I saw the most respected oncologist throat cancer in each of these three places. I did my diligence with world-class surgeons.
All physicians reviewed my medical history. Evaluated my TC, and all gave the same diagnosis. Both the University of Virginia and Loma Linda would salvage surgery, the only difference that Loma Linda eliminate the right leg artery, it is my right arm to replace the artery in the neck. In the Mayo Clinic, the surgeon will make a new procedure, oral Trans Micro Laser Surgery involving the insertion of a surgical laser in the throat and use a laser as the main cutting tool. This procedure removes the cut my jaw, and the elimination of my artery. However, it was reported the procedure "is not magic" and "minimalist." I would have a significant injury, maybe some speech difficulties, a gastrostomy tube inserted through the nose, a very long recovery, trouble swallowing, and a speech impediment for many years, possibly forever.
I tell this story because they hear something like that and you have to analyze your chances. How can you live the rest of your life?
At that time, I my weight was 112 pounds. How much weight could I lose? Also, do not want to look in the mirror and see a part of my face removed. In my mind, I had no choice but to take an alternative route. Remember ... be determined and beat cancer. That mantra was always in my mind. I kept beating the drum again and again.
I turned to alternative medicine, and began what people call the journey to wellness. I went to a naturopathic doctor in California and has drastically changed my diet to include herbs and vitamins, along with fruits, vegetables, nuts, cereals and fish. This diet has changed my life. When you have cancer, your body is depleted of nutrients you need, you should give your body and your brain the nutrition it needs to go well again.
Throughout my cancer treatment first, I was never given a diet or any other information about how diet can cure cancer. However, the truth of the matter is, probably not in the mood to listen to anything, even if I had given a nutritional diet. They had spent more than my intuitive healer asks the crossing to wellness. My old lifestyle and eating were still a part of my regimen. My attitude was such that "I just took the medicine prescribed for me, do what the doctors tell me to do, and be healed through the wonders of modern medicine." I would find the best doctor money could buy, the most famous throughout the world and defeat cancer! Just take a pill and make everything disappear ... that was my thought before it was challenged with cancer a second time.
It was not until I went through the crossroads, what I call the point of no return, when both my conscience and my subconscious mind was working together to make me like this forever. I had refused salvage surgery, and I knew I would be cured if I had to do something important for me promptly. I started studying and doing research. I started researching alternative medicine and other options for healing. I became a voracious reader and searched the Internet for information about cancer cures and healing. Needed to find an answer and cure to my car.
They gave me a book called Love, Medicine and Miracles by Dr. Bernie Siegel. Dr. Siegel says that the body has an incredible power to heal itself. This is where my journey began.A FREE Preview of her latest book and a video is available at:

The Ovarian Cancer: More Deadly Than Breast Cancer
Cancer is a dangerous and mysterious to people who do not know much about it. Well, everyone is made up of cells, the cells are what make the fabric and the fabric is what makes our bodies. Normally, when a cell gets old and tired like we are dying and a new cell takes its place. Our body produces new cells growing and dividing healthy cells. Sometimes our body overproduces cells and that is when the tumors (masses of tissue) are formed. These tumors are not always cancer, when they are called benign tumors. When they are a malignant cancer that is called, which are those that can be life threatening. Both types of tumors can be removed but the cancer are more likely to grow again and they alone can also spread to different parts of your body. When this happens, the cancer cells break away from the original tumor and the flow of blood to use as a highway to travel around your body. When cancer cells spread as it is called metastasis and cancer may start going to new tumors. If these cells get to any of its organs and tumors start out new and this is when damage can be done.
They call ovarian cancer because the tumor first begins in the ovaries and is comprised of more productive ovary cells. The ovaries are part of the female reproductive system and attach to the uterus through the fallopian tubes. When a malignant tumor starts to grow these areas may also be affected because of their proximity to the ovaries. When the tumor begins to kill cancer cells are normal cells in the abdomen first, because it is closer to where the reproductive system is located. Then, as I said earlier that cancer cells may begin to affect the lymph nodes and enter the bloodstream to travel to different organs.
Ovarian cancer is so deadly because it is very difficult to detect. Each year more than 14,600 women die from ovarian cancer in the United States. This may not seem like much when you think of the millions of people who live here, but when about 20,000 women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer each year that number seems like a lot. So this means that on average 7 out of 10 women will die of this disease and this is all because it is very difficult to detect. In order to detect what you have to know what the symptoms. The most common symptoms are pain in the abdomen, pelvis, back or legs because the cancer is in your body. You can also have a swollen belly, as it can fill up with fluid. You will also feel very tired all the time and have a bit of nausea, indigestion, gas, constipation and even diarrhea. Less common symptoms would be the lack of breath, frequent urination and unusual vaginal bleeding. However, these symptoms are very general and disease can cause many other diseases and is therefore difficult to detect because ovarian cancer is not typically the first thing we think when we have one or more of these symptoms.
Most women who think that if there was a problem that arose in their Pap smear, a test once a year that women receive from your doctor. However, a Pap test is only the detection of cervical cancer and can not be used to diagnose ovarian cancer. When women go to their doctor for a Pap test he or she must do a pelvic exam, so, for this will feel the ovaries and nearby organs for any lumps or changes in shape and / or size. Often doctors will not be able to feel a tumor until they have a considerable size. We therefore hope that further tests and pelvic exams to diagnose this cancer. If women who have abdominal distention or pain and to see a doctor, you can check your abdomen for fluid buildup. If some find some of a sample can be taken for detection of ovarian cancer cells as part of the diagnosis. There are also blood tests that your doctor check your level of CA-125 to see if it is high. The CA-125 is a substance found on the surface of ovarian cancer cells but also in normal tissue, is therefore a high level could indicate cancer. Unfortunately this test can not be used as the only test to diagnose ovarian cancer. It is mainly used to track a woman who has been diagnosed and is undergoing treatment or early detection of cancer recurrence after treatment is completed. The next way to get a diagnosis is to have an ultrasound. There are two different types of ultrasounds can be done, the first is the least invasive of the two. This is where you take the ultrasound device and press up against the abdomen and produces sound waves that bounce off organs to produce an image to see it. By using this you would be able to get a picture of the ovaries to see if there was a tumor or abnormality. The second type of ultrasound that can make a transvaginal ultrasound and do the same things that regular however, this device is inserted into the vagina of a much better picture of the ovaries. The last test to help diagnose this cancer is a biopsy. Biopsy will be done only if the blood test and one of ultrasonics have indicated there may be a tumor. A biopsy is when a sample of tissue or fluid to check for cancer cells. Once the biopsy has become a pathologist examine the sample under a microscope for cancer cells. If there are some that are then described as grade 1, 2 or 3 and this is based on how abnormal the cells look.
Once doctors determined that cancer cells are present they have to determine at what stage of the disease is before starting any treatment. To find out what stage the cancer is in the doctor must know the extent of tumor is what we have discussed above and also may have to run a series of more tests, such as a CT scan or chest radiograph. CT is where you give a bit of contrast material and the machine then take several pictures to get a clearer picture of the pelvis and abdomen to see any tumors or abdominal fluid. The chest radiograph is used to see if the cancer has spread to the lungs and if there is any fluid buildup there.
There are four stages of ovarian cancer, the first stage is called stage 1. Phase 1 is when cancer cells are found in one or both ovaries or abdominal fluid. Only 15 percent of women diagnosed with stage 1 and have a survival rate at 5 years of 93.8 percent (statistics). Stage 2 is when the cancer has spread to other reproductive organs such as the fallopian tubes and uterus. Can also be found in the abdominal fluid and other tissues in the pelvic area. The survival rate at 5 years for Stage 2 is 72.8 percent and only 17 percent of women diagnosed with this step. Phase 3 is when the cancer has spread to lymph nodes and can also be found outside the liver. This is the most common stage women are diagnosed (62 percent), with only 28.2 percent survival rate at 5 years (statistics). The last stage is the stage 4 and this is when the cancer may be found in the lungs or any other body. Thus, at this point that has traveled out of both pelvic and abdominal areas. This has the lowest survival rate of 27.3 percent and the lowest percentage of women diagnosed in 7 percent (statistics).
Once the doctor has determined what stage they can begin treatment accordingly. Most women undergo surgery to kill cancer cells and both ovaries and fallopian tubes, uterus, nearby lymph nodes and omentum, which is a thin pad of fat covering the intestines. If only one stage doctors sometimes leave the uterus intact and only have one ovary and fallopian tube, but this depends on your age and if you want to get pregnant and bear children. If cancer is one of the other stages (2, 3 or 4), then you should go further and eliminate cancer as much as possible. You can also make chemotherapy as a form of treatment. This is when "cancer" drugs are given to kill the cancer cell. Medications can be administered by any one of the insertion into the vein (IV), intraperitoneally (IP), which is administered directly into the abdomen through a thin tube, or orally by tablets (cancer ovarian 13). Side effects of chemotherapy can be hair loss, vomiting and diarrhea. This is because the drugs also harm normal cells, which can damage the hair cells (hair) and cells lining the digestive tract (vomiting and diarrhea), but can also damage blood cells and easy bruising your body and be more susceptible to infections because their blood cells are those that help fight off infections.
From now on we can not explain why some women develop this cancer and another does not, but there are some women who are at greater risk. If you have any women in your family has had ovarian cancer, especially his mother, daughter or sister of you or a family member are at higher risk. But also, if you or a family member have had your uterus, colon, rectum, breast cancer or you or a family member will be at a higher risk. Most women who are diagnosed with this disease are over 55 years and have never been pregnant. If you or a family member is at an increased risk you want to talk to a family member to ensure you are aware of these risks. So I would encourage people at risk of talking to your doctor and see if something can be done to ensure that if they have been some signs of cancer could be detected early.
It may recommend genetic testing to see if you have a certain gene mutation BRCA 1 or BRCA 2, which has been associated with ovarian cancer and breast cancer. If you're going to have this test done, you must provide a detailed family history and give a blood sample. Blood tests are done for mutations in their DNA, specifically in search of genes BRCA 1 and 2. In obtaining the results that will let you know if there is a mutation, and if you knew for sure are at an increased risk. If you can not find a mutation that still puts you in a risk category based on their family history. This test has been very important in determining the links between certain mutations and ovarian cancer. The more data we can collect the better we are searching for a connection.
The most important thing to remember is that this is the deadliest gynecological cancer with very nonspecific symptoms, 15,000 women die from this cancer each year. If you or someone you know has any of these symptoms, talk to them and encourage them to contact their doctor in the hope of early detection. The earlier the detection the better chances you or a family member has become one of the 15,000.
The New Cancer Drugs Uncovered
For many people in the UK who saw the program tonight on ITV, "We Can Beat Cancer" found in similar circumstances to those contained in the program is likely to be hot in the case of these drugs . For me, however, after discovering some truly horrible facts about chemotherapy that shed a different light on orthodox treatments, there were doubts in the mind immediately for this new wave of anticancer drugs.
Firstly we are all so captivated by 'drugs' the word when associated with serious diseases like cancer, like the miracles all the answers and still be encompassed within this term. When used in conjunction with statements such as "Doctor of the divide" to become even more elaborate on the possibilities that can be found with such drugs, especially today with cancer being a murderer so deep. Well, this is exactly the reaction from those who continue to convince the vast majority of people that drugs are in fact better, if not the only hope if a cancer diagnosis at any point in their lives .
The truth, cancer patient cancer drugs + = big profits
In view of this, let's look at some of these new cancer drugs which many people are living in anticipation of, or in the future may be putting his life;
Iressa (gefitinib)
Iressa now can be used to treat people with locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) or NSCLC that has spread to other areas of the body. Iressa is what is known as an inhibitor of EGFR, which means it only works where mutations receptor epidermal growth factor on the surface of cancer cells is detected.
There are different characteristics to the group of patients who may have the level of EGFR to respond to such treatment, women, people who have never smoked, those with adenocarcinoma, and Asians.
Iressa binds to epidermal growth factor (EGFR) on the surface of cancer cells, preventing the binding of epidermal growth factor (EGF) in the receiver. EGF is a form of protein found in the body and once connected to a receiver, an enzyme called tyrosine kinase (TK) is formed. This enzyme instigates the ability of cancer cells to grow and divide, causing the cancer to spread through a chemical process triggered within the cancer cell is one.
Iressa has shown good results in many cancer patients at the beginning, however, this tends to be followed by a relapse. This is most likely to the ability of cancer cells become resistant to drugs that are treated. I read the medical reports of patients who achieved complete remission through the use of Iressa, only for the cancer to return and for this same line of treatment is completely ineffective for the second time. Iressa is used as particularly after the failed attempts of treatment with chemotherapy, there is little hope that any of the forms of treatment being successful the second time.
Known side effects
Nausea and vomiting - usually treated with medication against the disease.
Diarrhea - usually controlled with medication.
Rash - a rash similar to acne, dryness, itching, sore throat and irritated skin.
Vision problems - pain, redness, blurred vision, itching, eye pain, conjunctivitis.
Fatigue - Extreme fatigue and lack of energy.
Loss of appetite - possibly resulting in weight loss and can be linked to feelings of extreme weakness.
Hair & Nails - Hair loss and loose nails, fragile.
Increased blood pressure - Symptoms include headaches, dizziness, blurred vision.
Respiratory diseases - which affect about 1 in 100, this is a rare side effect, is the inflammation of the lungs. Symptoms include shortness of breath, cough and fever. This is very serious and can even cause death.
Conclusion
We are not looking for a potential cure here, but only an extension of life. The ability of cancer cells become resistant and come back with total immunity to this drug means that does nothing more than "we wait longer."
Side effects are not pleasant, to say the least and once the cancer comes back, as scientific evidence has shown that almost inevitably does, what options are left?
In my opinion, a great down to instigate something so great hopes among many patients.
PARP inhibitors
The first results in the use of PARP inhibitors to treat breast cancer are said to be promising. PARP stands for poly (adenosine disposphate-ribose) polymerase, an enzyme that repairs the damage to our DNA.
These drugs are said to work for "obstructing the ability of cells damaged by chemotherapy or genetic mutations through to repair themselves, causing tumor cells to die as a result" (WSJ).
PARP is found in all cells, including cancer cells and helps damaged cells repair themselves. According to some physicians, because cancer cells have BRCA gene faults, if you can stop working PARP-1 then these cells can not repair themselves and die. As normal cells do not contain errors BRCA gene should still be able to repair themselves even though PARP-1 is blocked in all cells of the body, not just cancer cells.
This treatment is still at an early stage of the trial, but could be an effective treatment for cancer with an abnormal BRCA1 or BRCA2 gene. This drug, when used in conjunction with chemotherapy may reduce the resistance of cancer cells to chemotherapy. This treatment is only available for those with an abnormal BRCA1 or BRCA2 gene in breast cancer treatment in advanced stage, ovarian or prostate cancer through participation in clinical trials.
Known side effects
As this is a new treatment, little is known about side effects, however there are some that doctors already know, Fall of Blood Cell Count - cause fatigue, shortness of breath, an increased risk of infection or bleeding problems.
Conclusion
Despite claims that the inhibition of PARP-1 should not affect the functioning of healthy cells that simply can not be the case, as demonstrated by the fact that this may cause a decrease in blood cell counts. Surely this is evidence of damage to blood cells, which are able to repair themselves? I find it hard to believe that PARP is found in all healthy cells, if not actually necessary for them as part of its operation. We should increase the strength of our healthy cells and immune system, not to obstruct their ability to repair themselves, common sense tells us they are only weakening the entire body with the hope of killing the cancer cells before the damage to healthy cells kills us first. The cells are carrying out our form, our bones, our blood, our skin and internal organs, denying them of something to keep you just leave ourselves open to infection and illness.
Herceptin (trastuzumab)
Another drug used for breast cancer and stomach cancer, apparently, Herceptin may stop breast cancer growth and in some cases may even reduce the size of the tumor. Herceptin is used alone or in combination with chemotherapy or those who have already completed two cycles of chemotherapy.
Herceptin is part of a group of cancer drugs called monoclonal antibodies. Monoclonal antibodies recognize and bind to certain proteins that can be found on the surface of cancer cells and is said to activate the immune system to attack these cells. While assisting in the disposal of certain types of cancer cells, these drugs are said to cause harm "little" to healthy cells.
Around 20-30% of breast cancer and appears in 6-40% of cases of stomach cancer is an excessive amount of a protein called HER2 found in cancer cells, which stimulates growth of these cells. These cases of this type of cancer known as HER2-positive, where breast cancer patients referred to this can be very aggressive and rapid growth. Herceptin binds to the HER2 protein on the surface of cancer cells and prevents the protein of the epidermal growth factor bind, epidermal growth factor triggers the chemical reaction inside the cancer causing cells to grow and divide.
Known side effects
Common side effects:
Fatigue - this may take 6 months - 1 year after treatment, but gradually decreases with time.
The flu-like symptoms - nausea, dizziness, headache, fever and chills may be experienced and is said to disappear after a few hours after treatment. These side effects are often offset by the additional medication.
Allergic reaction - affects about half of patients, usually reduced through other treatments. Symptoms include fever, chills, rash, urticaria, pruritus, wheezing, headache, dizziness, flushing, lightheadedness, shortness of breath and difficulty breathing.
Diarrhea - usually treated with medication. It affects about 1 in 3 people.
Heart problems - a great Fast and irregular heartbeat and is not suitable for patients with a history of heart disease or high blood pressure.
Pain - abdomen, chest, pain in joints and muscles may be experienced.
Less common side effects:
Reduced white blood cell count - cause an increased risk of bacterial infection, which in some cases can be fatal. Symptoms of infection include headache, feeling cold and chills, muscle pain, cough, sore throat, and possibly pain during urination.
Lung problems - cough and difficulty breathing.
Heart damage - can cause heart damage, affecting about 1 in 25 people, and even heart failure.
Liver problems - usually follow up with regular blood tests.
Insomnia - difficulty sleeping.
Fertility problems - unknown effects on fertility (but still on the list.)
Conclusion
Given the statements that "little damage to healthy cells," that makes the drug when you look at the above side effects, it is clearly put into perspective. Everything has side effects like this and most commonly according to reports widely available, is harmful and damaging to our cells and our long-term health.
Another strength, this drug is used with or after chemotherapy. Chemotherapy causes significant damage to our bodies and kills more people than cancer. Without doubt, to use this in the first place is beyond all reason, let alone in conjunction with another drug with horrible side effects such as almost any of the above! Everyone knows the poor quality of life resulting from chemotherapy, particularly repeated treatment, but fear I can not think of the suffering of the people can endure through a combination of chemotherapy and Herceptin.
Some reasons for the side effects mentioned are treated with more drugs. "In addition to discomfort and damage to our body may be the only real result of this, even if you feel initial relief.
Medical Industry figures indicate a 50% increase in survival rate using herceptin breast cancer, unfortunately only in the statistics misleading. The actual figure is only 12%.
In addition, this drug is being tested for its efficacy against other types of cancer and increased mortality rate at 2.5%.
General Conclusion
We are not looking for new concepts in real fighting cancer here, the "drug" of always "drugs" on "drugs." Side effects and potential dangers of these new drugs are deep and seem to be most unpleasant. I personally would never dream of touching them, I will not say "even if my life depended on it," because they never do, my life will always depend on "my own lifestyle, not drugs prescribed to me by any doctor.
When states hear of these drugs are set to benefit potentially thousands of cancer patients and it is considered that 1 in 4 of the population is directly affected by cancer, it is a lot of people, although the 3 - 4% of them benefited from them, it would still be thousands of people! Since it is medical statistics, but these figures are much higher, but again these statistics are actually failures in many ways. An example is the survival rate of 40-50% of chemotherapy patients, which is not always clear is that this is only for a period of five years. If you were to take into account how many people live the rest of their lives completely cancer free and never die of cancer, treatment, or any indirect cause of treatment, this figure is only 3%! This is due to the increased susceptibility to cancer caused by chemotherapy, much more often than it does in the future again and this time the chances of survival are much less.
In this day and age with advanced levels of science, is this the best I can be reached? The truth is that many scientists whose research is devoted to the good of humanity, but as the medical industry has greater credibility among the vast majority of the population and results are made available to us, if not pushed in us, people just do not hear or even notice the alternative research.
The real cure for cancer:
There are actually many cures, very real for cancer, but are simply ignored by most people who put their faith and made their lives in the hands of her oncologist alone. Perhaps we should remember that these people, although there is no doubt that they are acting with the best of intentions, are trained in medical school in the use of "drugs" for treating cancer. They have no knowledge or experience in the natural treatment options and therefore now is certainly the time to take control of our own destiny by educating ourselves in other treatment methods that are working well for hundreds of thousands people around the world. There are so many stories written by people who have been cured after being considered incurable by medical professionals and some have recovered after being literally on his deathbed.
The main aspect to consider when it comes to treating cancer is that adjustments to certain lifestyle to do, something that was not working for you or not have become ill and what I'm talking about all the diet. Changing your diet alone may be sufficient to reverse many cancers, especially in the early stages and always the best place to start. If you are not willing to give up the foods you like, or are not willing to give this a try, then the real desire to get well again is not there. This course of action is not painful side effects, which can only make you feel better and better with time. Certain foods contain nutrients that specifically target cancer cells, stimulate other immune system response and also when on a diet of cancer that are "starving" cancer cells to healthy cells, while "food", giving your body the best chance to end cancer.
Killing Cancer Supplements:
In addition to their diet and for a more aggressive attack on cancer is a good idea to add anti-cancer supplements to your daily regimen. Some supplements are more than 100,000 times stronger in its healing properties, and the ability to fight cancer chemotherapy.
Supplements can attack cancer in many different ways and they are all covered in detail in my cancer protocol (see below). After extensive research and experience in testing various products for the treatment of cancer, Amanda now wants to share some of the best I have found with those trying to beat cancer themselves or who wish to help a loved one.Cancer Protocol
What Is Cancer And How Can I Prevent It
Cancer is not a disease. This is a group of more than 100 different and distinctive diseases.
Cancer can affect any tissue in the body and have many different forms in each body part. Most cancers are named for the type of cell or organ in the beginning. If the cancer spreads (metastasizes), the new tumor has the same name as the original (primary) tumor.
The frequency of a particular cancer may depend on gender. Although skin cancer is the most common malignancy in men and women, the second most common type in men is prostate cancer and in women, breast cancer.
Cancer frequency does not equate to cancer mortality. Skin cancers are often curable. Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in men and women in the world today.
Benign tumors are not cancerous, malignant tumors are cancer. Cancer is not contagious.
Cancer is the Latin word for crab. The ancients used the word in the sense of a malignancy, doubtless because of the tenacity of crabs, like a malignant tumor sometimes seems to show in grasping the tissues it invades. Cancer can also be called malignant, a malignant tumor or neoplasm (literally, a new growth).
ORIGIN OF CANCER
All cancers begin in cells, the body's basic unit of life. To understand cancer, it helps to know what happens when normal cells become cancer cells.
The body is composed of many cell types. These cells grow and divide in a controlled manner to produce more cells as needed to keep the body healthy. When cells become old or damaged, they die and are replaced by new cells.
But sometimes this orderly process goes wrong. The genetic material (DNA) of a cell can be altered or changed, producing mutations that affect normal cell growth and division. When this happens, cells do not die when they should, and new cells form when the body does not need. The extra cells can form a mass of tissue called a tumor.

CAUSES OF CANCER
some of the causes of cancer such as smoking, can be controlled. Others, such as a person's age or family history can not be changed.
Causes
Scientists have found many factors that make a person more prone to hepatocellular cancer.
1.Gender
Men are more likely to develop liver cancer than women. This could be due to the following conduct, such as smoking and alcohol abuse.
There are also some inherited liver diseases that increase the risk of liver cancer.
2. Cirrhosis
Cirrhosis (suh-row-sis) is a disease in which liver cells are damaged and replaced by scar tissue. This can often lead to cancer. In this country, the main causes of liver cirrhosis are alcohol abuse and hepatitis B and C. Another cause is a disease that causes too much iron in the liver.
3. Diabetes
Diabetes can increase the risk of liver cancer. This is more common in diabetics who have other risk factors such as alcohol abuse or viral hepatitis.
4. Obesity
Obesity can increase the risk of liver cancer.
5. Aflatoxins
These cancer-causing substances are made by a fungus that can contaminate peanuts, wheat, soybeans, peanuts, corn and rice. The long-term exposure to aflatoxins may increase the risk of liver cancer. In the United States and Europe, these foods are tested for aflatoxins.
6. Vinyl chloride and thorium dioxide (Thorotrast)
These chemicals are risk factors for various types of liver cancer. They have become much less important as Thorotrast is no longer used and vinyl chloride exposure is strictly controlled.
7. Anabolic steroids
These male hormones are used by some athletes to increase strength. The long-term use of these may slightly increase the risk of liver cancer.
8. Arsenic
In some parts of the world, drinking water contaminated with arsenic increases the risk of liver cancer. This is a concern in some areas of the United States.
Less Certain risk factors for liver cancer
Birth Control Pills
Birth control pills may slightly increase the risk of liver cancer. Most studies linking birth control pills and cancer involving the types of pills that are no longer used. Birth control pills are made differently, and it is unclear whether increasing the risk of liver cancer.
Snuff
Some studies have found an association between smoking and cancer of the liver, but the magnitude of this is not known.

HOW TO PREVENT CANCER
Food: Eat organic produce, especially fruits whose peels are eaten, and avoiding red meat. Eat low on the food chain, choosing fresh produce and grains and less meat.
Cleaning products: Look under the kitchen sink, and avoid the use of all that has a skull and crossbones. Buy baking soda and vinegar instead - they are so good.
Cell: Limit calls as much as possible, to reduce the penetration of microwaves directly into your brain.
Nonstick cookware and stain repellents: Discard any old, cracked nonstick pans, because the chemical, PFOA, used to make the nonstick coating has been linked to cancer. It is also presernt in stain-resistant clothing, and waterproof fabrics. Rain gear-testing is good, but not next to the skin.
Personal care items: Avoid anything that contains parabens - butylparaben, methylparaben - some studies have shown estrogenic activity and have also been found in human breast tumors. What is All About Cancer - Incidence, Diagnosis, Causation, Symptoms, Treatment and Prognosis
Cancer appears to occur when the growth of cells in the body is out of control and cells divide too quickly. Cancer can develop in almost any organ or tissue such as lung, colon, breast, skin, bone or nerve tissue.
The most common sites are:
Prostrate 24%
13% breast
Lung 13%
Colorectal 9%
Bladder 3%
Uterus 2.5%
The cause of cancer is believed to be a combination of genetic factors and external carcinogens such as snuff, viruses, infection, asbestos, vinyl chloride, an inadequate diet.
Cancer often has no specific symptoms, so it is important to limit your risk factors and undergo appropriate cancer screening. Signs and symptoms depend on the location of the cancer, cancer size, and to what extent it affects the nearby organs or structures.
If the cancer has spread (metastasized), then symptoms may appear in different parts of the body. As the cancer grows, it begins to push on nearby organs, blood vessels and nerves. If the cancer is in a critical area, such as parts of the brain, even the smallest tumor can cause early symptoms.
But sometimes cancers start in places where it does not cause any symptoms until the cancer has grown quite large. pancreatic cancer, for example, usually do not grow enough to feel from outside the body. By the time a pancreatic cancer causes these signs or symptoms, usually reached an advanced stage.
A cancer may also cause symptoms common to many other problems, such as fatigue, fever and weight loss. This may be because the cancer uses much of the energy of the body or cause the release of substances which affect metabolism.
Some types of lung cancer that hormone-like substances that affect blood calcium levels, affecting nerves and muscles and causing weakness and dizziness.
It is important to know that some of the general (non-specific) signs and symptoms of cancer are, but remember you have any of these does not mean you have cancer.
Most cancers can be treated and some cured, depending on the specific type, location and stage. The earlier cancer is detected, the better the prognosis.
A good example of the importance of early detection of cancer is melanoma skin cancer. Skin cancer can be easy to remove if it has not grown deep into the skin, and the rate of survival at 5 years (percentage of people living at least 5 years after diagnosis) at this stage is nearly 100%.
The breast cancer screening by mammography has been shown to reduce the average stage of diagnosis of breast cancer in a population. Colorectal cancer can be detected by testing for fecal occult blood and colonoscopy, which reduces both colon cancer incidence and mortality, presumably through the detection and removal of premalignant polyps. Similarly, cervical cytology testing (using the Pap smear) leads to the identification and removal of precancerous lesions.
Testicular self-examination is recommended for men from age 15 to detect testicular cancer.
SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS
The pain may be an early symptom with some cancers such as bone cancer or testicular cancer.
long-term constipation, diarrhea, or a change in the size of the stool may be a sign of colon cancer.
Pain when urinating, blood in urine or change in bladder function (eg, more or less frequent urination) could be related to bladder cancer or prostate.
Skin cancer may bleed and resemble sores that do not heal.
A prolonged injury in the mouth could be an oral cancer and should be treated promptly, especially in patients who smoke, chew, snuff or drink alcohol frequently.
Sores on the penis or vagina or may be signs of infection or a cancer early, and should not be overlooked.
Unusual bleeding may occur in either early or advanced cancer.
The blood in the sputum (phlegm) may be a sign of lung cancer.
Blood in the stool (fecal or a dark or black) could be a sign of colon or rectal cancer.
Blood in the urine may be a sign of bladder or kidney cancer.
A bloody discharge from the nipple may be a sign of breast cancer.
Many cancers can be felt through the skin, especially in the breast, testicle, lymph nodes (glands), and soft tissues of the body. A lump or thickening may be an early or late sign of cancer.
While they often have other causes, indigestion or difficulty swallowing may be a sign of cancer of the esophagus, stomach, or pharynx (throat).
A cough that does not go away may be a sign of lung cancer.
A cancer may be suspected of a variety of reasons, but a definitive diagnosis of most malignancies must be confirmed by histological examination of cancer cells by a pathologist.
TREATMENT
Once diagnosed, cancer is usually treated with a combination of surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
Radiotherapy may be used to treat almost all types of solid tumors, including cancers of the brain, breast, cervix, larynx, lung, pancreas, prostate, skin, stomach, uterus, or soft tissue sarcomas.
Most forms of chemotherapy target all rapidly dividing cells and are not specific to cancer cells, although some degree of specificity may come from the inability of cancer cells to repair DNA damage, while normal cells can usually.
contemporary methods to generate an immune response against tumors include intravesical BCG immunotherapy for superficial bladder cancer and the use of interferons and other cytokines to induce an immune response in renal cell carcinoma and melanoma patients.
pain medications like morphine and oxycodone, and anti-emetic drugs to suppress nausea and vomiting, are widely used in patients with cancer-related symptoms. transmission and disease.
Advances in cancer research have made a vaccine designed to prevent cancer available. The vaccine protects against four types of HPV, which together cause 70% of cervical cancers and 90% of genital warts.
The consensus on diet and cancer is that obesity increases the risk of developing cancer. The components of the anti-cancer foods are also proving to be more numerous and diverse than it is understood, so patients are increasingly being advised to consume fresh fruits and vegetables not for maximum health benefits.
The Breast Cancer Risk Factors Today
The exact causes of breast cancer are not known. Often doctors can not explain why a woman may develop breast cancer, but not others. What is known is that the bruising, hitting or touching the breast does not cause cancer. Breast cancer is not contagious. It is not "caught" from others.
There have been studies that have revealed some of the risk factors for breast cancer. Among the risk factors are the age of a woman, a family or personal history of breast cancer, breast changes, changes in their genes and menstrual history. Other risk factors for breast cancer include race of a woman, if she has had radiation therapy to the chest, and breast density. However, other factors for breast cancer include taking diethylstilbestrol (DES), the overweight or obese after menopause, not being physically active, and their consumption of alcohol.
Breast cancer is uncommon in women before menopause. As women age their chances for developing breast cancer may increase. occurrence of breast cancer is higher for women over 60 years.
The probability of a woman developing breast cancer increases if her mother, sister or daughter has a history of the disease. If a family member developed breast cancer before age 40, the risk is even greater for a woman developing breast cancer. Other relatives of breast cancer, either by maternal or paternal side of the family, you can also put a woman at increased risk of developing breast cancer.
Having a personal history of breast cancer may also increase the risk of a woman. If a woman has had breast cancer in one breast the risk of breast cancer in other breast enlargement.
Changes in the breast of a woman can put a woman at risk for breast cancer. The cells in the breast of a woman can look abnormal under a microscope. Abnormal cells, such as atypical hyperplasia and lobular carcinoma in situ (LCIS or) increase a woman's risk for breast cancer.
Changes in a woman's genes BRCA1, BRCA2, and others may increase the risk of breast cancer. Evidence of family members who have been known to have breast cancer can reveal the presence of specific genetic changes in family members. In order to improve the detection of this disease in women who have these changes in their health care providers of health genes may suggest ways to try to reduce the risk of breast cancer.
menstrual and reproductive history of women can put a woman at risk for breast cancer. The women have their first menstrual period before age 12 are at higher risk of developing breast cancer. The risk of breast cancer increases with older age when she had her first child. A woman in menopause after age 55 puts it at greater risk of breast cancer. If a woman has never had children are at increased risk of breast cancer. Taking menopausal hormone therapy with estrogen plus progestin after menopause appears to increase breast cancer risk. Studies have shown no link between abortion or miscarriage and breast cancer risk.
Race is another risk factor for breast cancer. Caucasian women more often than America, Africa or Asia, American women are diagnosed with breast cancer.
Radiation therapy performed in the breast, including breast, before a woman is 30 years old is another known risk factor for breast cancer. Studies indicate that the younger the age of a woman when she received radiation treatment, the greater the risk of breast cancer in later life.
tissues of a woman's breast or fat or thick. Putting them at greater risk of breast cancer are older women whose mammograms, or breast X-rays show more dense tissue.
Diethylstilbestrol, also known as DES, was given to some pregnant women in the United States during the 1940 to 1971. This is no longer given to pregnant women. Taking DES during pregnancy may slightly increase the risk of breast cancer. The possible effects on the daughters of women given DES during pregnancy are still being studied.
An overweight or obese women after menopause may increase a woman's risk of developing breast cancer. Studies have shown that after menopause the risk increases for women who are overweight.
A physically inactive lifestyle can contribute to the risk of breast cancer. If a woman is active, you can prevent weight gain and obesity and thus reduce the chances of breast cancer.
Drinking alcohol increases the risk of breast cancer. Studies indicate that the more alcohol a woman drinks, their risk of breast cancer increase.
Researchers are studying other possible risk factors for breast cancer. Is currently studying the effect of diet, genetics, physical activity and certain substances in the environment increases the risk of breast cancer.
Avoid known risk factors for breast cancer may help protect women against breast cancer. Risk factors for breast cancer such as family history can not be avoided. These should be discussed with your doctor.
Most women who have no known risk factors for breast cancer. Many women with breast cancer have no family history of disease. Most women with breast cancer have no clear sign of other risk factors of aging.
If a woman thinks she is at risk for breast cancer should discuss your concerns with your doctor. Your doctor may suggest ways you can reduce your risk. At risk or not, a woman must plan regular checkups with your health care provider. Prevention is the best cure.
